Celebrate Pride Month in June
with a vibrant toast in Yokosuka!
To honor the beauty of diverse identities,
the “Yokosuka Rainbow Cocktail”
will be available for a limited time only.

From June 1 (Sun) to June 30 (Mon), 2025, our 19th-floor restaurant Le Bistro de Bourgogne will be offering a special cocktail in celebration of Pride Month — the Yokosuka Rainbow Cocktail.

At Mercure Yokosuka, under the “DISCOVER LOCAL” concept, we actively embrace and promote the values of community, environment, and diversity. This year, in a new initiative aligned with the international observance of Pride Month (held every June), we are pleased to introduce this unique cocktail that celebrates LGBTQIA+ pride and inclusion.

The cocktail features eye-catching colorful cotton candy, representing “diversity” through its vivid appearance. Though each color is different, the sweetness remains the same—symbolizing our wish for a society where differences are embraced, and every individual contributes to a more vibrant and inclusive world.

We hope that through this joyful drink, even those unfamiliar with LGBTQIA+ topics will feel welcome to engage and learn more about the meaning behind Pride Month.

The Yokosuka Rainbow Cocktail is available in two varieties:

• Sparkling wine-based cocktail (with alcohol): ¥1,100 (tax included)

• Non-alcoholic mocktail: ¥900 (tax included)

When served, sparkling wine is poured over the cotton candy at your table, causing the colorful fluff to instantly melt and transform the drink into a vivid, swirling delight. The color of the cotton candy is a surprise that changes daily, adding an extra touch of fun.

This captivating moment is sure to inspire photos and videos—perfect for sharing on social media!

<What is Pride Month?>
Pride Month is an internationally recognized time, held every June, to celebrate the diversity of LGBTQIA+ communities and promote understanding of their rights.
It traces its roots to the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in New York City and is now marked by parades and educational events across the globe.
In Japan, the first Pride-related event was held in Tokyo in 1994, and celebrations now take place nationwide.
